Sealed in the obscure space is an untouchable story:

The King's consort queen, who exuded fanciful fragrance, was known as the most beautiful woman in the world. Unfortunately, she was plotted and killed with poison by jealous concubines in the abysmal palace.

A mysterious architect designed it and collected all the scents left behind by the consort queen. All the building materials and slaves must be cleansed and deodorized carefully before transporting and the concealment of the scents, which underwent complicated process, into the catacomb. As the story goes, the mausoleum was spread with intertwining corridors and passageways that measured up to a Labyrinth. Like trachea and alveolus driven by mysterious apparatus, they made the catacomb breathe like a living lung. Dry air carried these fainted scents and circulated in this underground mausoleum over and over.

However, reputedly the distraught King never entered the mausoleum all his life because he was too afraid that his body odor might blemish such perfectly preserved scents. He was murdered with poisoned and usurped the throne by his sons and chamberlains in his old age, and his body was burned in the raided Forbidden City.

Imagination for Creation

I imagine this project to be a blueprint of a stage design. A complex and mysterious mechanism for one scene is drawn out, traps are set in to capture intruders. On the stage, the stories from the most noble to the most humble will be performed.

On the over-complex and puzzling blueprint there are many texts, signs and jargons. They seem to explain the mysterious installations but no matter how hard one tries to read them, he/she still is confusing. They must be misleading in order to cover up the real design.
