Pavilion of Dreams was a project of the Creativity Lab affiliated with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRT), commissioned by the Taipei International Floral Expo. It applied the most updated technologies developed by the ITRI, including liquid crystal glass, super small RFID, UWB, and naked eye three-dimensional display. The Creativity Lab worked with Story Nest, Tech Art Group Inc., Blue Phoenix New Media Arts and artist Yu Wen-Fu to present the themes of Floral Expo. The Story Nest was in charge of the design of the second hall of the Pavilion of Dreams. It presented the symbiosis of insects and flowers.

In this interactive program, the audience becomes bugs roaming among giant flowers. They are entirely infatuated by the fragrance and colors in the maze of flowers. Covered with pollen after several trips before being seduced to the ovule, the bugs accomplish the mission of helping the reproduction of the flowers.

The interactive devices were arranged from the entrance in the order of: transmutation into bugs, the channel for stamen, the universe of pollen and ovule. Step by step the audience was led into the perspective of insects and the enjoyment of the wonders and surprises of nature. Such an arrangement tended to inspire the audience's greatest imaginations about nature through visual metaphors.

The exhibition guides would also tell visitors that when transmuting into bugs they were going back to their previous lives. Sometimes plump visitors would question, "Why was I such a fat bug in my previous life?" A video clip showed how visitors, when they were absorbed in the process of transmuting, inadvertently mimicked the way bugs walked. Evidently their thoughts had been changed, and therefore so had their behaviors.
