I have been working on public art for MRT Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station since July, 2011.

This piece is technology art which includes 12 kinetic sculptures. 216 motors are used, 2 photographers and 4 writers have been invited to help create it. It will be installed in the underground passage connecting Taipei 101 and the MRT station. Here are some ideas about it: 

The narrow passage is just like journey of life
12 poetry books scattered
When the train comes, there is an invisible hand
Blows through the pages with a natural rhythm
Passengers come and go, bearing their own thoughts
Read through stories of Taiwan

Kinetic sculpture made of 100 flipping pad installations would exchange faces of 25 different children to narrate the idea "care for old and young people like they were your family".
