For the third consecutive year, we will be exhibiting at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) in South Korea in 2022. We plan to show three dazzling VR works!
《La Camera Insabbiata》《Childhood Revisited》《Kuo Hsueh-Hu Three States of Home Gazing》
At this year's BIFAN, Hsin-Chien Huang will not only exhibit the VR work " La Camera Insabbiata", but will also show two collaborations, " Childhood Revisited" and " Kuo Hsueh-Hu Three States of Home Gazing".
Due to the epidemic, the BIFAN has only shown exhibits online for the past two years. This year, the festival will finally resume its physical exhibitions and welcomes visitors to come experience the works in person.
The three VR works from different periods will be shown at the same time during the film festival, to share their unique settings, backgrounds, and stories. "La Camera Insabbiata" contains eight unique rooms and blackboard text that symbolize memory. "Childhood Revisited" brings the Wugou Shui community in Wanluan from the 1960s back to life through old photographs. "Kuo Hsueh-Hu Three States of Home Gazing" surrounds the viewer in the work of Master Kuo Hsueh-Hu which recalls the prosperity of Dadaocheng in the 1930s.
